So I’ve seen a bunch of people do the boyfriend tag on YouTube, and I’ve always wanted to do it. The thing is, I don’t really like making videos, and even if I did, my boyfriend would never do it. so I shall be answering them here as best as I can just because I want to see what I can answer.

1. Where did we meet? School. Assigned seating next to each other. :) 

2. Where was our first date? We didn’t really have one in specific. What we decided to count as the day we started going out was a walk in the park by the river.

3. What was your first impression of me? He seemed super nice and friendly, considering I really sucked at talking to guys. 

4. When did you meet the family? Before we actually went out because we were 14 and our parents wanted to meet us when we hung out for the first time.

5. Do I have any weird obsessions, if so - what? I will not count the sports, since that is a later question. He has every Garfield book, but that’s more just a collection and his huge obsession is Transformers. 

6. How long have we been together? As of last week it was 4 years. :)

7. Do you have a tradition with your gf/bf? Not really. Except we tend to hang out on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Tat’s just what worked when we had school and things. 

8. What was our first roadtrip? Our band (him) and choir (me) went to Edmonton together, but I don’t count that since it was with school. Other than a few of those trips we’re just gone on a few day trips together to nearby towns for these sports event things.

9. What was the first thing you noticed about me?I do not remember at all.

10. What is my favorite restaurant? He likes…I’m not sure. A few places, but we don’t go out much.

11. What do we argue about the most? Nothing except when I just am stressed out and get mad and every little nothing that happens. I wish I didn’t do that but I never get enough sleep.

12. Who wears the pants in the relationship? Um…it’s actually about even.

13. If I am watching tv what am I watching? He likes his sports, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory, Storage Wars…I’m just trying to think of all the things he auto-records on his DVR.

14. What is one food I do not like? He doesn’t really like any sauces or spices unless it’s ketchup. 

15. What drink do I order when we go out to eat? Sometimes water or iced tea. 

16. What size shoe do I wear? I’m pretty sure an 11. Maybe 11.5 depending on the size.

17. What is my favorite kind of sandwich? I only ever see him eat packed lunches. THen he either eats just peanut butter (crunchy, not smooth), or any type of sandwich meat with butter, lettuce and occasionally tomato.

18. What is one talent I have? I think he can transform all of his Transformers without looking at the instructions. And he’s got at least 50 of them. 

19. What would I eat everyday if I could? Candy. He eats so much candy.

20. What is my favorite cereal? I think the one he likes is like Vanilla Almond…honey bunches of oats or something. I know it’s got almonds.

21. What is my favorite music? He likes the basic newer rock-ish genre type stuff. Like Theory of a Deadman and Evanescence and Paramore…

22. What is my favorite sports team? Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Blue Jays, he doesn’t really pay attention to basketball, and he absolutely hates the NFL.

23. What is my eye color? Brown!

24. Who is my best friend? One of them is me! :) But I’d say Dylan. Dylan’s cool.

25. What is something you do that I wish you didn’t? Something that I will not share but he would know exactly what it was if he read this. 

26. Where am I from? Here, same pace as me, where we’ve both always lived. 

27. What kind of cake would you bake me on my birthday? He absolutely loves carrot cake. 

28. Do I play any sports? He used to play basketball but quit, he loves curling, but doesn’t have a team anymore since we graduated, and he’s in a bowling leave. (Provincial champ!)

29. What can I spend hours doing? Nintendo. Sports. Lego. 

30. If I could live anywhere, where would it be? He wishes he could live in Vancouver. I told him I’d go there with him on vacation sometime. 

That’s it! Sufficient time waster and now I should probably go to bed if i want to get anything done tomorrow before he comes over. Bye!

Today I watched emilythebravee’s video of the same title of this and I felt the need to make my own. But I don’t really do videos and decided to blog it instead.

To my oldest brother and sister: I never saw you guys as much as I would have liked when I was a kid, but I love you guys so much. You really do have to make up though. you haven’t spoken to each other in about 3 years now, and nobody actually told me what really happened, but nothing could be that important that could break up the friendship you two shared your whole lives. You were always such good friends, and I admired that. It takes a wonderful brother to be a maid of honour for his sister. And to perform for her the final dance from Dirty Dancing, because it’s her favourite movie of all time. I mean, you were even dance partners as teenagers. I know fights happen, but I’d really like to see our whole family together again. 

To my boyfriend: You mean the world to me. I know I get snippy sometimes, but I’m always tired from school, and I feel so horrible when I do it. You’re the only boy I’ve ever kissed, and you’ve also become my best friend in these past three and a half years. I know sometimes we have our differences, but I don’t want that to ever get in the way. 

To most of my old friends: I don’t know what happened to all of you. It seems like one day, we were hanging out all the time, and everything is wonderful, but then I slowly realize that you never invited me over anymore, or that we didn’t even say hi when we passed in the hall. I wish we could still be friends, but I feel like it’s been so long that I don’t even know you anymore. 

To my other brother: I don’t know if you know how important you are to me. You are the one person that has always been around as I grew up. You taught me to be tough, to love trivia, and you showed me how awesome video games are. You’ve always been there for me and shown me how to be a good person. You’ve never even hesitated to let me stay over when I needed to and been the protective big brother when I needed it. You were a role model that’s become a friend. One time our cousin told me that you talk about me like I’m the smartest, most wonderful person in the world, and you’ve told me how proud of me you are. Now it’s my turn to be proud. I always expected it, but now I can see how great of a dad you are. Your daughter lights up your life and I can only hope she sees you for how wonderful you are. Thank you. 

To myself: I know it’s hard, but you need to be brave. To be happy, you have to speak your feelings sometimes, even if it’s scary. Remember that you are a worthwhile person and even when you feel like you can’t do anything right, you can. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, and if other people don’t like it, don’t worry about them. Those you love know who you are, and they love you deep down. And don’t stress out, it will all work out in the end.

So…I did also cry while doing this. I guess that’s the one plus to not being able to see my face right now.

How did I not see any of this? I saw none of it, except for hank’s tweet at the end. And I was thoroughly confused by it. Now, I understand.  

So…it’s finally sunk in, just today. I’m graduating in a week. All I have left is an English test tomorrow, and a Biology one on Thursday, and then there’s nothing left. Ahhhhhh, this is crazy. I mean yeah, there’s college next year, but that’s totally different.

In approximately 162 hours, I’ll be crossing the stage and receiving my diploma from the principal. Weeeiiiird. Okay yeah, I have nothing else to say, just wanted to share my feelings about this.

P.S. I was sitting here the other day and suddenly went “Hey, in a month I’ll be contributing to a different demographic group on YouTube”. Can you say nerd?
